Synopsis:
In an alternate reality, during the Cold War, the heroes existed until they have to reveal their identities to the government. many of them are no longer heroes, others agreed to work for the government (as Dr. Manhattan and The Comedian), while others secretly act as vigilantes, constantly being harassed by the authorities.
one night, The Comedian was mysteriously murdered. the vigilante Rorschach investigates the death of the former vigilante and convinces the former heroes, Nite Owl and Silk Spectre, to return to active and find out who is killing the heroes.
But they barely know something big is coming.
